The Department of Environmental Geosciences at UNIVIE focuses research activities in five fields: Nanogeosciences & Nanosafety, Environmental Contaminant Dynamics, Hydrogeology, Biogeochemistry and Isotope Geochemistry. It maintains a unique, world leading laboratory infrastructure for the identification, quantification & characterization of nanoparticles in complex samples.
